A New Plan from Old Friends: The BN/Hunt Quantum Announcement
· How to win more intermodal business? Make it more reliable. And how to make it more reliable? BNSF and J.B. Hunt think they have a solution. They call it Quantum, a new customized service that aims to be on-time at least 95% of the time. Even better, shipments will arrive approximately a day faster than traditional intermodal service, based on results from trials the two companies have been running since June.
